Day 9: Wörthersee -> Bled

This is the day I finally went to Slovenia! Instead of going directly I decided to make just a small detour to Klagenfurt, since I was so close. For me it wasn‘t worth it though, the city felt very car centric and the old town was not that big or special in any way so after a quick coffee and a snack I made my way towards Slovenia. The only problem was that there is a mountain range separating Austria and Slovenia, so this meant I head to climb another pass, in this case the Loiblpass. This climb in combination with the hot weather (> 30 degrees) and not a lot of shade meant I was completely sweaty since the beginning if the climb, but somehow I still made it up. Luckily there was a tunnel at the top, so I didn’t have to ride all the way up. After a cold lemonade and an ice cream I headed towards Lake Bled, an iconic lake located bear the alps. I found a camping spot right at the lake, so I could go swimming after this exhausting day.
