Day 6: Bruneck -> Lienz

I decided to change my initial plan and instead go up to Austria already. I will still go down to Slovenia, but I found the route here to be good and there should be some nice cities along the way. This must have been one of the most scenic days, I had to stop often to just enjoy the view. First I wanted to go straight to Lienz, which would have been a fairly quick and easy ride, but a fellow cyclist I met in Bozen was going to ‚Pragsersee‘ at the time, so I thought I would make a detour, because it was supposed to be quite beautiful. This meant however a few additional meters in climbing up, as it was a mountain lake. However, once we arrived there we were far from alone, and while the lake is beautiful, it was just completely overcrowded, as there was a big parking right next to the lake and there were many buses driving up as well, so it was a bit disappointing. But the ride down was nice again, and I arrived quickly in Lienz at a nice camping.
